On the morning of June 7, Professor Kent of the University of Arkansas, USA, accompanied by Deng Gang, Deputy Director of the School’s Foreign Cooperation and Exchange Division, and Ji Hongjiang, Deputy Director, visited the Aviation College. Executive Vice Dean Shen Yinggang, Academic Affairs Office and Overseas Cooperation Director Zhu Xingdong and others attended the seminar.
Director Deng Gang introduced the basic situation and international cooperation and exchange of Kunming University of Science and Technology.
Professor Kent introduced the University of Arkansas. The University of Arkansas is a comprehensive public university located in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The University of Arkansas Business School has received strong support from Wal-Mart and has extensive cooperation with U.S. Express (UPS) and civil aviation companies. The University's logistics major ranks seventh in the United States. The University of Arkansas has also accumulated rich experience in cooperation with many domestic universities.
Shen Yinggang, deputy dean, introduced the enrollment, professional settings, and logistics engineering curriculum settings of the aviation college. At the meeting, the two sides conducted extensive and in-depth discussions on the training of logistics professionals and future cooperation.
After the symposium, Professor Kent and his team also visited the "Flying Tigers" exhibition hall of the Aviation College, the Yunnan Aviation Education Development History Museum, the Simulation Flight Laboratory, and the Platinum Chunchuang Passenger Drone R&D Center.
